About

Surrounded by lush greens, with exclusive access to a paradisaic black sand beach surrounded by cliffs, Lagarza offers a unique opportunity for you to truly connect with nature.

Our place is a tribute to nature itself. Lagarza’s concept is inspired by the natural experiences of our Salvadorean founder during a journey traveling around the world.

We offer six private rooms, shared dorms, restaurant, bar, two pools and several common areas for you to chill with amazing ocean views.

SUSTAINABILITY

At Lagarza we are committed to a sustainable environment. The hostel was designed around the trees of the property, respecting the environment. We have a water treatment plant, we avoid single use plastic and focus our efforts to maintain the nature that surrounds us.

An oasis of paradise an hour's time from the airport, space for a maximum of approx. 20 people. Here you get a nice little private beach, good service and food. Perfect for relaxing for a few days. Wonderful place. The views are spectacular. Everything is very clean and the rooms are very nice. The beach just below is very good and you can see a spectacular sunset. This is the most idyllic place we have ever been.

We felt like we were in heaven! Everything! the entire property is gorgeous. you truly feel like you’re at a slice of heaven. Vanessa, Efrain and Wendy at the bar are amazing!! They really show care and passion. The private beach and the infinity pool were the best!!! And the food was sooooo good! try the fried shrimp and the passion fruit margaritas!

Great location, beautiful beach. We noticed this time that the beach gets cleaned every day by the staff of the hotel which we find really fantastic. The place is pet and environment friendly. The food is very tasty. It's a perfect spot to hang out and relax and have a good time. We'll be back.

I loved everything about this hidden Oasis Reina was great along with other staff. She was very attentive to our request and always had a smile. The food was also excellent and wifi was very strong. Just perfect. We hope to visit again. We got a chance to meet the owner Daniel and he himself was very kind , soft spoken , and had great customer service. Dont let the Rocky road up to the entrance deter you. Once you enter beyond the gates you will never want to leave.

Great location, away from the crowds and nested in the woods near a nice sandy beach. The room was very nice and the bed was comfy. Hot water at any time and good WiFi. We stayed here for a couple of night to rest and relax and couldn't wish for a better spot! There is a semi private beach just below the hostel and reachable by foot directly from the rooms. Food was great and reasonably priced considering the distance from the main towns. The staff was super friendly and always went the extra mile to help us in any way. The pool is very nice and has plenty of room to sit around and enjoy the weather. If you don't have a car it's quite difficult to get in El Tunco as the hostel is about 25min drive away but we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to El Salvador!

Stunning beautiful location, super quiet. Away from the main road is a bit bumpy but good to do if you drive quietly (even with a sedan). Beautiful room, wide and comfortable bed and bathroom outside what we loved. Good food in resto. Direct access to a private beach. Nice infinity pool... Too many plus points to mention!
